This is something I’ve tried dozens, if not hundreds of times. They say it takes 21 days for something new to become a habit – I disagree because I’ve fallen off the wagon months into it, sometimes. I don’t know why this time will be different, but I need it to be. I’m usually tired, achey and just feeling blehhhh.
No more long-term goals… just focusing on now. On today.
Start doing:
✔ Stay hydrated. Drink as much water as I can.
✔ Monitor what I eat so I know what works best for me.
✔ Experiment more in the kitchen, keeping it simple and clean.
✔ Opt for the healthier meals… they are there and they’re not that bad.
✔ Eat more snacks throughout the day to avoid going overboard at mealtimes.
Stop doing:
✘ Stop skipping breakfast. It is important.
✘ Limit the take-out… Particularly the junkfood.
✘ No more coffee. I don’t need it and I don’t even like it.
✘ Cut back on the cake. A lemon muffin is not “practically a fruit”!
✘ Do not deprive myself but remember my lifestyle will catch up with me.
